Thank You, Texas County Officials Conference – A Great Week in Sugar Land

In September, the Timework team along with Infor and Infor Public Sector, we had the privilege of joining county leaders and elected officials from across the State of Texas at the annual County Officers Conference in Sugar Land, TX. Thank you to the Fort Bend County Team for hosting such a great coference, specifically Bill Rickert!

We want to extend our sincere thanks to the event organizers and all those who stopped by to connect with us. It was an incredible opportunity to hear directly from county officials and staff about the real-world challenges they face when it comes to timekeeping, attendance, and employee scheduling across their departments. From large-scale workforce operations to smaller offices with unique scheduling needs, every conversation gave us valuable insight into how counties manage their teams today — and where technology can make a difference.

At Timework, we’re dedicated to helping government organizations simplify complex workforce processes through modern, efficient, and compliant time and scheduling solutions. The feedback and stories shared during the conference continue to guide how we serve the public sector — ensuring our approach remains aligned with the challenges and goals of Texas counties.

Next time you are thinking of modernizing, implementation integration, think of an Infor Workforce Management(WFM) system. Timework is specifically focusing on key concerns from local entities in the Public Sector Space that include the technical challenges of integrating WFM with existing ERP systems like PeopleSoft and Oracle EBS, particularly foremployee data, payroll exports, and tracking balances. We have an extensive project management structure, including scheduling meetings, validating the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and defining roles and responsibilities for multiple departments.

Furthermore, Timework offers a comprehensive library and catalog of videos that enhance the user adoption and user experience when it comes to adoption the solution. The feedback, the material contains numerous technical discussions about configuring WFM features, such as time codes, pay rules, shift patterns, and addressing client-specific issues like union rules and the use of the over all application.

To everyone we met in Sugar Land: thank you for taking the time to share your experiences and ideas. We look forward to continuing the conversation in the weeks ahead and exploring how Timework can bring measurable value to your county’s workforce operations.
